I’m here to give you an excuse. An excuse to drop everything, pack your suitcase and just go. Go on an adventure, go on and explore the prettiest places. Let’s face the other side of the world instead of our daily routine. It’s time to get out of our comfort zone. It’s to get out of our chairs. Let’s go into nature, dive into culture and make some of the best memories in the next five places. Are you with me?
It is spring and spring might be my favourite season to travel. The weather is getting nicer, it’s getting warmer, cherry blossoms are everywhere and the birds start chirping. What I love is that every place in the world looks different during the year. And that’s the same with Japan. Get covered in the gorgeous cherry blossoms in Tokyo or experience the bamboo grove outside of Kyoto. The bamboo grove is actually one of the Top 100 Soundscapes of Japan! How cool is that?
I think we all know the movies of Madagascar. The funny Marty and the enjoyable penguins were my absolute favourite. This country has so much to offer. One of the most amazing places in the world are the Avenue of the Baobabs. These gorgeous trees are centuries old and they reach a height of 100 feet.
Might be a little closer to home, or it might be a little farther away from home. Whatever the distance might be: this place is gor-ge-ous. The Azores in Portugal are breath taking beautiful and it’s “just” 900 miles away for the coast of Lisbon. Which makes it just a “little” ride away from the beautiful city. You’ll experience peace like no other place, you’ll get to enjoy the gorgeous nature and learn what travel has to give you in this place. I love how countries, whom might not have the reputation of being absolutely stunning, are actually stunning! This place has ocean deep cliffs, scattering waterfalls and amazing views.
Yes, that picture triggers my wanderlust. I’m going to pack my bags in a minute and just leave everything about. What blog posts do you want to see about Boracay, Philippines? I’m joking, I wish I could go. This place is amazingly gorgeous, but incredibly popular. There are only a limited amount of visitors allowed on this island. Nevertheless, it is such a beautiful place to see.

I can not make a list about the most gorgeous places on earth, without including Cappdocia. I haven’t been here yet and I cannot wait to visit. Everyone knows the photos of the insanely pretty hot air balloons. Nothing about this is photoshopped, this is the real deal. This is worth getting up early. It might be the only few reasons why I would ever get up early. To watch the sunrise and the hot air balloons with the amazing view: oh yeah, I would even skip my sleep for this.
Have I ever mentioned that Australia is on the very top of my list? I believe I have. The Whitsundays look like a dream come true to me. The gorgeous paradise-like ocean, pearl white beaches and the green of the palm trees. It’s considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the world for a reason! This is also a great place to go scuba diving or snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef.
The Isle of Skye is the typical Scottish beauty you imagine when thinking about Scotland. The sunrises and sunsets are the best moments of the day the visit this place. Not only is this nature and scenery pretty, the cuisine on the island is very modern and super tasty! For all the food and nature lovers: this is your place to be. The perfect combination!

I think Bolivia is pretty undiscovered. You will find raw nature, special hidden spots and places all to yourself. What else does a traveller love so much? There is a salt lake called “Laguna Colorada” and the water is blood-red sometimes. The flamingo’s in the water and the breeding birds make it a photograph you can’t forget. Especially during sunsets and sunrises.
This is such a divers country. From beautiful beaches, to lovely small cities with historical features to an amazing nature in the inland of Croatia. There’s something for everyone in this country. Don’t forget to visit the gorgeous National Parc Plitvice Lakes. It is popular, but try to avoid the peak seasons and the peak times and you will have a wonderful time! Definitely worthy of a visit if you ask me.

I’ve been to France many, many times and I think I’ve seen about 80% of the country. There are so many beautiful places. One of my favourite regions is the Provence. I’m a wine lover, I love wine fields and lavender fields. The Provence has everything combined! It is a very beautiful region that has to be on your list if you visit France.
