Barcelona is known for the famous Antoni Gaudí architect and all the amazing buildings in the city. There are tons of museums to visit and it’s nice to get to know something about the history of the city! The amazing Sagrada Familia is a must see when you’re in the city. Even to just admire the building itself if you do not have the time to go inside the building. If you do have the time, I would recommend to buy the tickets online. There are several skip-the-line tickets which will save you a lot of time.

This is my favorite neighbourhood in Barcelona. I love the vibe, the colors, the many food places and the streets. It is the perfect place to do some shopping in local boutiques, enjoy the surroundings of the neighbourhood, eat an ice cream or drink a hot chocolate depending on the season you’re visiting Barcelona. I bought two pretty dresses in a local boutique in Gothic Quarter and had the best ice cream! There are also lots of photography options in this neighbourhood.

It was the best paella I have ever eaten!

The Ramblas is the centre of Barcelona. You just can’t miss it! It’s the perfect way to walk from one side of the city to the other side. From the beach to the centre of Barcelona and vice versa. Take a left or right and walk into the Gothic Quarter! You can’t get lost if you just follow the Ramblas, I promise. Enjoy the colors of the Ramblas, the fun markets and don’t forget the big food market next to the Ramblas! That’s the Mercat de la Boqueria, it’s huge and you can buy chocolate, fruit and fish and so much more in this market. Even if you are not planning on buying something, it’s worth it to visit and take a picture.
