It doesn’t always have to be far away or super expensive.

Once in a lifetime journeys – Explore Europe by Train
With all the countries so close together in Europe, it’s almost such a shame to take the airplane. You’ll miss the most beautiful landscapes in Europe while flying over them. Travelling by train is becoming more popular since it’s not too expensive and you get to enjoy the landscapes around you too. The train infrastructure is very good in Europe so it’s easy to get around. There are so many, many routes to take if you go on a train journey. Take for example the train from London, visit 20 countries during your journey and eventually stop in Amsterdam! You will visit big cities like Monaco, Lisbon and Paris. The best known train travel company is Interrail!
Sail the Greek islands
I feel like Greece is becoming a more regular destination on my blog. I’ve mentioned in a lot in the blog posts! Without a doubt, Greece is the perfect destination to do a sailing trip. There are multiple sailing companies to book who will sail you past the Greece islands so you can enjoy azure waters and explore islands like Santorini, Mykonos and Aegina.
Drive the Great Ocean Road
This is what I have in mind when I think of once in a lifetime journeys. I can not wait until I’m in Australia and driving my car on the Great Ocean Road. With amazing views over the ocean, the Australian vibe and the good weather. This 151-mile ride will take you past gorgeous beaches, rainforests and light houses. Get your camera ready before you go on this trip and don’t forget to live in the moment!
Find your plane tickets to Sydney starting at 792 GBP.
Trek and go camping near Machu Picchu
Everyone knows the UNESCO World Heritage called Machu Picchu located in Peru. It is so popular because it’s one of the most famous ancient Inca archaeological sites. It’s located on the Andes Mountains in Peru and was voted as one of the Seven World Wonders of the World and I can definitely see why.
To avoid the crowds during the day – I’d advice you to take an organized camping trip. You will hike up the mountain, set up your campsite at a legal place and hike up to Machu Picchu during sunrise. This will give you the most special experience, the sunset if the sky is clear, wonderful views and you will beat the crowds.
