Barcelona is known for the famous Antoni Gaudí architect and all the amazing buildings in the city. There are tons of museums to visit and it’s nice to get to know something about the history of the city! The amazing Sagrada Familia is a must see when you’re in the city. This is my favorite neighbourhood in Barcelona. I love the vibe, the colors, the many food places and the streets. It is the perfect place to do some shopping in local boutiques, enjoy the surroundings of the neighbourhood, eat an ice cream or drink a hot chocolate depending on the season you’re visiting Barcelona. I bought two pretty dresses in a local boutique in Gothic Quarter and had the best ice cream! There are also lots of photography options in this neighbourhood.

Enjoy the colors of the Ramblas, the fun markets and don’t forget the big food market next to the Ramblas! That’s the Mercat de la Boqueria, it’s huge and you can buy chocolate, fruit and fish and so much more in this market. Even if you are not planning on buying something, it’s worth it to visit and take a picture.
