My internship is over and it’s time to think about the next 6 months of the year! I’m so excited to travel more and I have two amazing trips planned for this summer. I wrote a blogpost last year about my summer plans. This one is quite similar but it’s full of travel stuff for this summer and after summer!
Also, did you notice something new on my blog? I invested and went out and bought a logo. The girl who designed it did such a good job. I’m so, so happy with it and it fits the colours and the lay-out of my blog perfectly. It really felt like something was missing and I think this was it! It’s really simply but that was exactly what I wanted.
Barcelona – 10th of July until 14th of July
The first trip of this year is already in three weeks! I’m going to beautiful Barcelona on the 10th of July. It makes me want to listen to “Barcelona” from Ed Sheeran, really feeling that song right now. I’ll be travelling for four days and we might go to Gerona as well since it’s only a 40 minute train ride. I went to Barcelona in 2016, but didn’t see everything I wanted to see. This year I definitely want to go to Park Güell even though it’s always super crowded. The last 6 months have been absolutely crazy with finishing my specialisation on my university and doing my internship. I am so ready to explore Barcelona again.
We have about 3,5 days in the city and I think that’s plenty of time! I’m so excited to drink my coffee at local coffee shops, lunch and have diner in a cute Spanish restaurant (tapas!) and drink a little too much Sangria. And besides all of that, I am so excited to capture all the gorgeous places of the city with my camera. I hardly made any pictures in 2016 so I’m ready to photograph like a crazy girl and make some really great blog content for you guys!

Madeira – 15th of August until 22th of August
I’ll be heading to the Portuguese island Madeira mid August. This one has been on my list for a very long time and I’m so, so happy to finally visit the island. It isn’t your typical summer holiday island, but I’m excited to have an active time on the island and explore as much as possible! The island officially hasn’t beaches. The coast is almost all cliffs with a gorgeous view. However, they did make two “fake” beaches to relax on.
Me and my friend have already a list full of thing we want to see. It’s going to be a challenge to fit it all into our 8-day trip! But I’m sure we can manage it if we plan it well.

I haven’t planned this one yet, but I really want to visit Iceland during the end of this year!! Me and another friend have been talking about this since freshman year of college and we’re going to be seniors in college. So it’s time to really look into it and start planning the trip. I’m thinking about just staying cheap in a hostel and explore the gorgeous sides of the country and hopefully witness the northern lights.
I have been wanting to visit Scandinavia for year and I have never been. Just writing about it makes me so excited, IEK!!! We’re going to look into it on Friday and possibly even plan it for real. O my.

End of December
I’m planning on trying to do another city trip. Vienna looks absolutely gorgeous during the winter and Christmas time. And if you know me just a little bit, you know that Christmas is MY time of the year. I start listening to Christmas songs when the weather gets chillier around October. Not even ashamed of it, the music just makes me extremely happy. Also, I have never been to England or Scotland so I’d love to visit London or Edinburgh!

With a little bit of luck, I’ll have 4 trips this year and I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to travel. Which places are you visiting this year?
